On July 16th, Chery Automobile's first unit of LEPAS brand's Agile Series flagship model L4 rolled off the production line. With guests jointly unveiling the new car, LEPAS L4 officially embarked on its global market journey, and is destined for South African roads.
"From LEPAS' independent global launch in April, to L8's global debut in June, and to L4's rollout in just 90 days – 90 days, three campaigns, three milestones. We have demonstrated to the world that LEPAS is not only a vanguard of Chery globalization strategy but also a trendsetter reshaping the global market pattern with 'Chinese efficiency'," said Zhong Wei, Deputy CEO of LEPAS, at the launch. Behind this efficiency lies Chery's robust R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain capabilities, as well as the belief of every Chery person to "dare to innovate". In addition, the Director of Vehicle Models, as well as key leaders from R&D and manufacturing, also attended the event, sharing the birth process of the new car, technological breakthroughs, and future prospects.
The rapid growth of LEPAS is inseparable from the strong strength of Chery Group. Relying on Chery's accumulation as 22 years as an export leader, the technical network of 8 global R&D centers, and the fully integrated global R&D, production, and supply chain. LEPAS has had the confidence of "technical trust from 16.3 million global users" since its inception. This all-dimensional capability of "manufacturing-R&D-integration" has provided a solid guarantee for the rapid implementation of L4.
Designed for young adults, L4 inherits LEPAS' "Leopard Aesthetics," inspired by a running leopard's dynamic muscle lines. It conveys the balance between power and elegance through sleek bodywork. The Vertical-slit headlights mimic a leopard's agile eyes, making every journey a stylish street statement.

At the same time, L4 creates an "exquisite third space" for diverse lifestyles: a humanized cockpit transforms commuting into enjoyment, paired with all-scenario super platform. Whether it is urban commuting or weekend adventures, it can become a reliable stylish partner, embodying the brand proposition of "COLORFUL LIFE, MASTERFUL DRIVE". L4 will redefine young adults' mobility and become a mobile stage for taste and attitude.
